In Print, TV or Radio if you can be a part of programming your going to have better engagement with the audience than if you’re just an ad that is an interruption.

A lot of local radio stations and TV stations have interview segments to help generate more revenue. They all go by different names, they’re run 7 to 15 minutes depending on the station.

We’ve always found these segments to be very effective. The key is to be educational about your business, what it does, and combine it with a current offer that you are rolling out, or something in the community that you happen to be doing.

For David Fresilli at Holistic Health and Fitness, we had set up a 15 minute interview that allowed him to educate the listening audience on not just his personal training business does, but how important it is for our body and mind. After educating the audience and get their interest he was then able to discuss his upcoming seminar for those that would like to attend.

These avenues are often under used and over looked in marketing, but should be a part of your PR and marketing plans..
