NewAge Natural & Organic Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning needed a new website, and what the owner wanted was quite similar to what many owner/operators want — a web design that allows them to make timely updates. It was also important that this web design reflect the integrated nature of our world and nontoxic carpet and upholstery cleaning.
We settled on a front page that mimics some of the branded collateral that is already being used by NewAge and relied heavily on the branded color to make a bold statement. The colors are not muddled, but rather bright and clear — as you would hope your carpets are after you have them cleaned.
The owner enjoys creating YouTube videos, and so we installed a conduit from YouTube to his blog on the site. Now, whenever he loads a new video to YouTube it automatically loads and posts to his blog on his website. It will also push the publication of the blog post directly to his business Facebook page, all without additional intervention from this busy owner.
As a testament to this owner’s love of YouTube, his customer testimonials are also recorded on YouTube and displayed on his testimonials page.

First of all I want to say excellent blog! I had a quick question that I’d like to ask if you don’t mind. I was curious to find out how you center yourself and clear your mind prior to writing. I have had a hard time clearing my mind in getting my ideas out. I truly do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or hints? Cheers!
