Join veteran sports broadcaster Jay ‘Byrd’ Reese weekdays at 5pm for ‘The BIGGEST little Sportstalk Show in Oregon.’ It’s Ducks, Beavs, Blazers, and Oregon prep sports news.

Reese is known as ‘The Byrd’ or ‘Byrdman’ and began his career in 1975 as a disc-jockey working for Duck announcer Jerry Allen. Reese has worked in radio & television for 25 years, and also officiated basketball at the NCAA Division-I level for 4 seasons. He has announced Prep sports on radio for 21-years with stints at Phoenix HS, North Medford HS, South Medford HS, Crater HS, and Grants Pass HS. The Byrd is a lead announcer for the OSAA Network Title Games.

The Byrd also spent 4 years in Minor League baseball as a lead play-by-play announcer. In addition, he has served as public address announcer for 3-seasons for the Portland Trailblazers.

The former Television Sports Director (KOBI-TV), and weekly co-host of ‘Friday Night Football’ (KTVL-10) currently hosts ‘The Bi-Mart / Tablerocksports Game Night Scoreboard Show’ every Friday night on Mix-FM 93.7 (Klamath 100.9 Grants Pass 92.1) and online. And, Reese serves as a play-by-play announcer for the Beaver Sports Network, calling early season baseball games, and select women’s basketball games.
