Toby’s qualifications include expert-level supervision, an uncanny ability to identify the most important spot in any room (usually the one you’re trying to work in), and a steadfast commitment to being exactly where things are happening.
He joins a proud lineage of legendary four-legged Ducks on The Pond, and it’s clear he takes that legacy seriously. From overseeing daily operations to conducting spontaneous morale checks, Toby has already made himself an essential part of the team. His leadership style is hands-on (and occasionally paws-on), and his presence serves as a daily reminder that work can be both focused and joyful.
Toby was recruited from Rescue Ranch Yreka, where, as we like to say, all the very best candidates come from. We’re grateful they trusted us with such an important hire—and we’re even more grateful Toby chose to make The Pond his new home.
