Paradux Media Group co-founder and Chief Visionary Officer Mike Frey officially assumed the role of 2013 President of the
Eagle Point & the Upper Rogue Chamber of Commerce, marking another chapter in his continued involvement with business leadership and community development in Southern Oregon.

The Eagle Point & the Upper Rogue Chamber of Commerce serves as an advocate for local businesses, economic vitality, and regional collaboration. As President, Frey will work closely with Chamber leadership, members, and community partners to strengthen engagement, expand visibility for local businesses, and encourage greater participation across the Upper Rogue area.

A key focus of Frey’s presidency will be grassroots involvement. Unlike many chambers that rely on hotel or tourism tax funding, the Eagle Point & the Upper Rogue Chamber operates without that revenue stream. As a result, member investment, sponsorships, and active participation play a critical role in sustaining Chamber programs, events, and outreach efforts.

In his opening message to Chamber members, Frey emphasized the importance of shared responsibility and local support in building a strong business community:

Most local chambers have hotel tax dollars to draw upon to help support their efforts. For our Chamber that is not the case, which means that we need to be a little more grass roots and have people and businesses more involved.

How can you help? Easy! Invest in the chamber and support the website by advertising on it—investment is just $200 a year. Sponsor a chamber event such as the Vintage Faire. Play a more active and vocal role in the chamber. Be a lunch sponsor. We have lunch sponsors for May–October and December but are looking for March and April.
