Paradux Media Group Wins 2025 Silver Telly Award for Cinematography in “Day in the Life”

Paradux Media Group wins a 2025 Silver Telly Award for cinematography in “Day in the Life,” a commercial featuring Pressure Point Roofing.

Paradux Media Group earned a 2025 Silver Telly Award for Craft – Videography & Cinematography for “Day in the Life,” a television commercial featuring Southern Oregon’s Pressure Point Roofing. Presented as part of the 46th Annual Telly Awards, this recognition celebrates excellence in the visual craftsmanship that brings television advertising to life.

The award recognizes the cinematography in a commercial that brings viewers closer to the people and work of the roofing industry. Rather than simply describing roofing services, “Day in the Life” uses visual storytelling to help audiences understand the work behind the business.

Silver Telly Award Recognizes Excellence in Cinematography

Strong cinematography does more than make a commercial visually appealing. It helps audiences understand a story, establishes its atmosphere, and creates connections that words alone cannot always communicate.

Every visual decision contributes to the viewer’s experience. Camera composition, movement, lighting, and perspective work together to shape how a story unfolds and how audiences connect with what they see.

The Telly Awards’ Craft – Videography & Cinematography category is a specialized competition that evaluates the videography and cinematography of a production rather than the commercial as a whole.

“Day in the Life” received Silver recognition in this category, acknowledging the visual craftsmanship behind the finished television commercial.

Bringing Pressure Point Roofing’s Story to Life

Every business has a story, but some of the most compelling stories aren’t told through words. They’re found in the people doing the work, the care they bring to their craft, and the everyday moments that reveal what a business stands for.

For Pressure Point Roofing, “Day in the Life” offered an opportunity to tell that story through the lens of the people and work behind the company.

Roofing is physically demanding, highly skilled work. Yet customers rarely see everything that goes into completing a project. By focusing on the daily experience of the roofing profession, the commercial creates a more personal connection between the business and the people it serves.

At Paradux Media Group, we believe the strongest advertising helps audiences understand the people behind a brand. That means looking beyond services and specifications to find the human experiences that make a business meaningful.

“Day in the Life” reflects that philosophy, using cinematography to convey what traditional advertising copy alone cannot always capture: the dedication and effort behind the finished work.

Why Visual Storytelling Matters for Business

Video allows businesses to communicate in ways that extend beyond written descriptions or traditional advertising messages.

Through thoughtful cinematography, businesses can introduce the people behind their work, demonstrate their expertise, and share the experiences that make their organizations distinctive.

But effective video production requires more than attractive imagery. The creative choices need to support a larger purpose, helping viewers understand the story and its relevance to them.

At Paradux, we approach marketing and creative strategy with that relationship in mind. The strongest work brings together a clear message, thoughtful execution, and an understanding of the audience.

Receiving a Silver Telly for “Day in the Life” is meaningful because it recognizes one of the creative disciplines that helps make that connection possible.

Two Silver Telly Awards for “Day in the Life”

“Day in the Life,” featuring Pressure Point Roofing, received two Silver Telly Awards at the 46th Annual Telly Awards.

In addition to the Craft – Videography & Cinematography recognition, the commercial earned a second Silver Telly in the General – Professional Services category.

These awards recognize different aspects of the same production. The cinematography award focuses specifically on the visual craftsmanship, while the Professional Services award recognizes the completed commercial within its industry category.

Both honors were part of seven Telly Awards earned by Paradux Media Group in 2025, including four Silver and three Bronze recognitions across commercial production, nonprofit storytelling, internal communications, and educational content.
